Our company, Fernhart New Media Limited ("Fernhart"), was acquired by NETB2B2 PLC in September 2005. Fernhart is a Digital Media business that has built a particularly strong service offering in the Interactive TV sector. We design, build and maintain web sites and interactive television services for small, medium and large businesses. Westchester acted as our Advisors throughout this intricate and successful project.

Fernhart had pioneered for years in the delivery of Internet and interactive services. We reached the point in 2005 were the company was positioned as one of a very select few that can develop enhanced DiTV applications for any broadcaster in the world. Consequently, to fuel our growth and to inject horsepower into the organisation, we decided, after eight years of independence, to pursue a sale of the company to an acquirer that could truly help us to further leverage our unique position in this growing market.

I knew of Westchester but had never met them until we decided to pursue a sale of the company. From the first meeting, I was impressed with their experience and knowledge of both our sector of IT and all aspects of Technology M&A. Once engaged, I was even more impressed as they quickly and naturally became part of the management team and we needed their experience which was most valuable to us. As a business we even experienced some challenging times during the process but Westchester was always there for us regardless of the time of the day. They were truly "Always Available".
