Our first experience working with Westchester was the successful sale of our SAP VAR and consultancy business that concluded in December 2002. We were already some way down the sale process when Westchester contacted us and introduced us to a qualified buyer, who turned out to be the successful purchaser. We then asked Westchester to assist us in a second, more challenging assignment: the sale, via an MBO, of our largest unit the Infrastructure business.

We were engaged in protracted negotiations with the management team and their financial backers when Westchester were invited to assist us during this, the most difficult, period in the negotiations. Westchester were able to deftly steer the process "back on track", leading to a successful sale in February 2003.

In fact, I wish that we had employed Westchester from the beginning of the process. Their contribution made the difference in our completing the transaction successfully. Westchester truly "makes a difference"; they do whatever it takes in terms of time, energy, insight and dedication to lead a project to a successful conclusion. In addition, they also played a pivotal role in obtaining terms that delivered improved value to our shareholders.

Most importantly they got the project moving, kick starting it and bringing a down to earth and realistic outlook to the whole process. I believe that we would still be negotiating now if it were not for the involvement of Westchester.

I would recommend Westchester first and foremost to others in search of an M&A Advisor.
